In 2024, the St Merryn Steam and Vintage Rally once again showcased its commitment to the community by distributing the proceeds from the event to various local causes. A generous sum of £1000 was donated to the Padstow Lifeboat Crew Fund, supporting the brave individuals who risk their lives to ensure the safety of those at sea. Additionally, £750 was given to Cornwall Blood Bikes, aiding their mission to provide essential transportation of blood and medical supplies across the region. Another £750 was donated to the Wadebridge Food Bank, helping to alleviate hunger and provide support to those in need within the community. Through these contributions, the rally continues to uphold its tradition of giving back and supporting vital local services.
